Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of industrial door systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Job Description & Duties:

· Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures;

· Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations;

· Install, repair and service garage doors, and associated power/hand tools

· Programming of PLC controls on high speed doors.

Skills Required:

· Fluent in English;

· Secondary school education minimum requirement;

· General mechanical and electrical knowledge pertaining to the working of overhead doors and gates;

· A minimum of 2 years of experience with overhead door and gate repair, including electrical;

· Completed training with fire doors;

· Driving licence;

· Applicants must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Pay: $36.60 per hour
