Job Summary:
Morty's Pub has been serving the KW community for over 43 years and we're not slowing down We are looking for part-time/full-time Servers/Bartenders/Hostesses. We consider our staff as part of our family. It's essential that you fit into our culture and with other team members. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for our guests. If you have a passion for the food industry, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
**Duties**:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations on drink selections
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Monitor customer behaviour and ensure responsible alcohol consumption
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations
**Skills**:
- Previous experience with serving/bartending preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems for order processing
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for accurately preparing drinks and garnishing them
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $16.55 per hour
Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
