We are looking for a passionate individual excited about joining our team as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator Level I, Level II or Level III. Either Operator Level of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator will be accepted for this application. Operators with a Water Quality Diploma (or equivalent) is an asset for the application process.

Nature and Scope of Work:

WWTP Operator III Rate: $41.51 per Hour.

Under the direction of the Chief Operator/Manager, the Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator III is responsible for the daily on-site operation and routine maintenance of the wastewater treatment facilities – a suspended and fixed growth tertiary treatment plant with biological and/or chemical phosphorus removal, disinfection, auto thermophilic aerobic digester, outfall, bio-solids, filtration, odour control and related appurtenances [water pollution control centre] and related wastewater collection components [liftstations]. Operator III is responsible for maximizing the performance of the pollution control facilities and minimizing safety and health risks and environmental concerns.

WWTP Operator II Rate: $39.66 per Hour.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator II assists with the daily operation and routine maintenance of the wastewater treatment facilities – a suspended and fixed growth tertiary treatment plant with biological and/or chemical phosphorus removal, disinfection, auto thermophilic aerobic digester, outfall, bio-solids, filtration, odour control and related appurtenances [water pollution control centre] and related wastewater collection components [liftstations]. Operator II is responsible for reporting to the senior operator problems related to the performance of the pollution control facilities to ensure all safety and health risks are minimized and environmental concerns are reported.

WWTP Operator I Rate: $37.46 per Hour.

The Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator I assists with the daily operation and routine maintenance of the wastewater treatment facilities – a suspended and fixed growth tertiary treatment plant with biological and/or chemical phosphorus removal, disinfection, auto thermophilic aerobic digester, outfall, bio-solids, filtration, odour control and related appurtenances [water pollution control centre] and related wastewater collection components [liftstations].
