Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operators to join our gravel crushing team. We are looking for wheel loader operators and hoe operators. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating various types of machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This role is crucial in ensuring that production processes run smoothly and that all equipment is maintained to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor heavy machinery and equipment, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any maintenance needs or potential issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety practices.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience operating heavy machinery or similar equipment is preferred.
  • Valid operator's license for relevant machinery is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures in an industrial environment.
  • Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance on equipment.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
