Position: Shop Mechanic – Heavy Truck, Trailer & Heavy Equipment
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Shop Mechanic to support our fleet and heavy equipment operations. This role focuses on diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance for heavy trucks, trailers, and construction equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, crushers, stackers, and conveyors.
What You'll Do:
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, engine, and drivetrain systems
- Perform scheduled maintenance and inspections
- Troubleshoot issues on heavy trucks/trailers and heavy equipment
- Maintain accurate service records and work within established safety practices
- Support field breakdowns when needed and communicate clearly with supervisors
What We're Looking For:
- Experience with heavy equipment and/or heavy truck/trailer repair
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop environment
- Commitment to safety, quality, and professional workmanship
- Journeyperson HD Mechanic or Automotive Service Tech ticket an asset, but not required
