Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and customer service, with experience in the restaurant or food industry. This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness and safety standards, and providing excellent service to our customers.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and guidelines.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing friendly and efficient service.
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including ovens, grills, and coffee machines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report any shortages to management.

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety standards.
  • Experience in serving food and handling various kitchen equipment is a plus.
  • Barista experience is an advantage for those interested in beverage preparation.
  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of hospitality and cleanliness.
