We're seeking a visionary Project Director – Marine Projects to join our North Vancouver team. Your Role & Impact

As a Project Director, you'll be the strategic and operational force behind some of British Columbia's most ambitious marine infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: Manage the full project lifecycle—from planning and procurement to execution and close-out—ensuring safety, quality, and budget targets are met.
• Team Development: Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the key point of contact for clients, regulators, and community partners, building trust and ensuring alignment.
• Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and reporting with precision and transparency.
• Contract & Risk Oversight: Negotiate and manage contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
• Technical Leadership: Apply your expertise in marine construction—including pile driving, crane operations, barge logistics, and deep foundations—to deliver exceptional results.
• Strategic Growth: Contribute to business development efforts and help shape the future direction of VanPile's marine operations.

What You Bring

• Education: Degree or diploma in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience: 10–15 years of progressive project management experience in marine or heavy civil construction, with a strong portfolio of large-scale projects.
• Professional Designation: Registered or eligible to register as a P.Eng., EIT, or AScT in British Columbia.
• Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of marine construction methods, contract documentation, scheduling tools (e.g., MS Project), and financial controls.
• Leadership Skills: A proven leader who inspires teams, drives performance, and leads with integrity.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Other Requirements: Valid driver's license and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
