We are currently seeking a Strategic Buyer (Remote) to join our national team and lead sourcing initiatives across diverse categories.

Role Overview:

As a Strategic Buyer, you will take ownership of end-to-end sourcing strategies — from supplier identification and RFx processes to negotiations and contract execution. You'll collaborate closely with internal teams and client stakeholders to deliver cost-effective, high-performance sourcing solutions aligned with long-term business needs.

Key Responsibilities:


• Lead competitive sourcing projects, including RFPs, RFQs, and supplier negotiations


• Evaluate supplier capabilities, cost structures, and risk profiles


• Develop and implement category strategies in collaboration with engineering, operations, and finance


• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvement, and value creation


• Negotiate commercial terms and manage supplier agreements/contracts


• Build strong relationships with both domestic and international vendors


• Support supplier onboarding, performance management, and continuous improvement initiatives

Qualifications:


• 3–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management


• Strong commercial negotiation and analytical skills


• Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and sourcing tools


• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, remote environment


• Experience in manufacturing, consumer goods, food, or industrial sectors is a plus


• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset
