We are currently seeking a Delivery Driver for our Burlington operations. Responsibilities include delivering quartz slabs and performing a variety of duties in the warehouse such as moving slabs, organizing and/or maintenance.

The qualified candidate will have experience as a DZ driver with a positive driver abstract.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance and cleaning assigned equipment.
  • Report defects and/or repairs.
  • Operate forklift.
  • Review documents daily to assigned delivery locations.
  • Daily communication with Customer Service Representative.
  • Support and meet daily Delivery requirements.
  • Ability to follow company policy, procedures and work instructions.
  • Ensure execution of safe work practices and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Must have valid DZ license
  • Must be able to provide proof of clean drivers abstract.
  • Must have Flatbed experience.
  • Familiar with GTA and surrounding Province.
  • Previous experience operating a forklift and overhead crane.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization.
  • Experience in stone, quarts & granite handling is an asset.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Willingness to work in a flexible work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
