Appliance Service Technician

We are seeking a full-time service technician to service primarily premium brand appliances. We are a Guelph/Rockwood based company that provides installation services across south-western Ontario and provides appliance service in the local market.

Applicant will be required to

  • Diagnose and repair all residential appliances (i.e. refrigeration, ranges, microwaves, gas appliances etc.)
  • Advise customers on proper use of their products to enable them to utilize the appliances correctly.
  • Resolve customer issues with a high degree of professionalism to the customer's satisfaction.
  • Maintain a company truck and required inventory and tools.
  • Perform all other duties assigned

Your Skill Set

  • Excellent mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting skills
  • Strong communication and superior customer service skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of appliance repair experience preferred but training will be provided for the right applicant
  • Gas Appliance Certification (DA or G2) preferred but not required
  • ODP in good standing
  • Organized with the ability to complete multiple service calls in a timely manner on a daily basis while providing high levels of customer service
  • Must be a self starter and be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Have basic computer skills
  • Ability to lift 70+ lbs
  • Valid driver's license, with good driving record
