Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Oversee day-to-day administrative and business operations to ensure a safe, efficient, and healthy work environment.
- Identify and implement improvements across internal systems, information flow, and organizational planning.
- Collaborate on agency-wide initiatives including strategic planning, risk management, and operational priorities.
- Ensure compliance with OHSA, PHIPA, AODA, Human Rights Code, and other relevant legislation.
- Serve as Acting Executive Director when required.
Finance & HR Administration
- Support the development and management of organizational budgets in alignment with strategic goals.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and identify risks or opportunities.
- Improve procurement processes, financial controls, and cost-saving initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
- Support HR functions including employment letters, payroll, benefits, RRSP administration, vacation/sick day tracking, and T4s.
- Ensure proper handling of petty cash and stipend processes.
Information Technology & Facilities
- Oversee IT and facilities strategy, ensuring systems and tools align with organizational needs.
- Lead IT and facilities teams or vendors, ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Manage building leases, contracts, insurance policies, and procurement.
- Oversee facility operations including maintenance, building systems, and risk mitigation.
- Serve as the AODA Lead, promoting accessibility improvements across the organization.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of senior leadership experience in the non-profit sector.
- Strong hands-on finance experience; Sage Accounting knowledge preferred.
- Experience managing operations across IT, facilities, HR, and finance.
- Solid understanding of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Proven experience leading and developing multi-functional teams.
- Experience implementing organizational change and improvement initiatives.
- CPA designation, MBA, or related university degree is considered an asset.

Working Conditions
- 35 hours per week with flexible scheduling between 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
- Occasional evenings or weekends as required.
- Background Sector Screening required prior to employment.
