Shore of Nova Scotia. Located in the heart of Bridgewater, Hillside Pines
offers an opportunity for a great work/life balance.

We
are currently seeking a casual Laundry/Housekeeping Care Partner who is
committed to working with Elders and joining our team of dedicated care
partners.

Position
Scope:

This
is a multi-skilled position where you will provide service in housekeeping and
laundry. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated
with cleaning and disinfecting all areas of Hillside Pines using a high
standard of cleanliness that is in line with infection control procedures. You
will also provide service in laundry which includes sorting, washing, drying,
and delivering clothing and linens in an efficient, timely and safe manner.
This position contributes to providing a safe healthy environment for elders,
care partners and visitors.

Qualifications:

-Previous
experience in Environmental Services considered an asset

-Ability
to work alone, prioritize and take initiative - self-motivated and open to
change.

-Strong
time management and organizational skills - able to manage heavy workload.

-Ability
to follow written and verbal instructions.

-Must
have successfully completed WHMIS (GHS) or be willing to do so.

-Maintain
a high standard of sanitation in all work areas.

-Participate
on committees and in-services

-To
perform other related duties as required

-Must
have a current and clear criminal record/vulnerable sector check

-Must
be willing to train in other support services roles
