beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia.

Located in the heart of Bridgewater, Hillside Pines offers an
opportunity for a great work/life balance.

We are currently seeking an energetic Casual Cook committed to working
with Elders and joining our team of dedicated care partners.

Qualifications include

  • High School
    Diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary Arts
    training and/or Red Seal Journeyman Certificate required.
  • Experience in
    volume food preparation in hospitality or healthcare.
  • Basic Food
    Safety or other recognized food safety certificate.
  • Ability to read,
    write and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated
    ability to lead and work well as a team with co-workers.
  • Ability to
    relate well with the elderly, sensitive to their emotional, physical and
    spiritual needs.
  • Physically able
    to work 8 and or 12 hours shifts.
