Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quantity Surveyor based in the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area. The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for cost control, development and management of bills of quantities (BOQ), cost planning, and preparing detailed cost reports. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, performing cost analyses, and ensuring project budgets align with financial targets. The role requires a high level of attention to detail and an ability to manage competing priorities to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Cost Control and Cost Management
  • Experience with Bills of Quantities (BOQ) preparation and related processes
  • Proficiency in Cost Planning and Cost Reporting
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed cost and data analyses
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and project management abilities
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and technologies used in quantity surveying
  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Familiarity with local construction regulations and standards is a plus
  • Ability to obtain Secret Clearance
