THE POSITION

Project Site Coordinator

We are currently seeking a Project Site Coordinator to support our project team(s) in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the project manager and superintendent with overall project performance, including cost, schedule, safety, quality, and field technical issues.
  • Collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to mobilize resources for both our team and subcontractors.
  • Expedite the delivery of materials and equipment from suppliers and subcontractors to meet or exceed project schedule requirements.
  • Obtain any additional information needed from consultants and the project owner to complete the project.
  • Work with the superintendent and subcontractors to resolve any identified deficiencies.
  • Assist with pre-commissioning and commissioning processes.
  • Support the overall project closeout, including archiving documents, and coordinating maintenance and warranty details.

Qualifications:

  • At least 1 year of commercial construction experience.
  • Commitment to delivering projects safely while championing the company's safety policies and procedures.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and internal team members.
  • Positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Strong results-driven mindset with attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as required.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a community college diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or architectural engineering.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
