We have an incredible opportunity for you to join the head office of this phenomenal global company and take ownership of this 7-month contract. With an ideal start date of March 1st you will have plenty of time to work along side the long-time employee currently in the role. With beautiful offices located in downtown Vancouver, this very lucrative contract will stand out on your resume and set you up well for the future.

The Mason Group is privileged to have been chosen to partner with our highly successful client to assist them in filling this role. Reporting to the Vice President, the primary scope of your responsibilities will include full cycle AP, including processing vendor invoices, reviewing and processing employee expense accounts, and weekly payment runs. There are also several special IT projects on the got to add variety.

You are passionate and care deeply about producing an accurate and timely product and providing unparalleled excellence in your approach to customer service both internally and externally.

You are experienced in a full-cycle Accounts Payable role within an ERP environment. Exceptional critical thinking skills, business acumen and polished communications round out your soft skills. The delivery of excellence in all that you do is second nature to you.

You are humble yet confident in your abilities and have enough relevant experience that you are comfortable working fairly independently while contributing to this close knit, top-tier corporate team.

Requirements

  • Some post-secondary education or a degree in accounting is strongly preferred.
  • You have 3+ years of progressive experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Intermediate level Excel skills.
  • Experience with an ERP system, with MS Dynamics Business Central (Navision) preferred.
  • Experience with Concur a differentiator.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented (really really detail oriented) with excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Above all you are just a nice person to be around.
