Job Description

The Account Representative will serve as a key liaison between customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication, efficient operations, and strong business relationships. This role involves managing a top account, supporting administrative and quality functions, monitoring financial transactions, and contributing to inventory and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer & Supplier Relations: Maintain open communication and foster positive relationships with customers and suppliers.

Inventory & Data Management: Gather and analyze data to support inventory management and operational efficiency.

Performance Reporting: Evaluate key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide ongoing reporting to management. Prepare and submit reports to relevant department heads and leadership.

Administrative Support: Assist with purchase order processing and ensure timely submission to suppliers.

Quality Support: Collaborate with the Quality team to address and resolve quality issues as needed.

Engineering Change Management: Track timing and implementation of engineering changes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Financial Monitoring: Monitor accounts receivable (A/R) and accounts payable (A/P) and assist the Accounting Specialist in resolving discrepancies.

Warehouse Coordination: Liaise with warehouse staff to manage product handling and fulfill customer requests.

Management Support: Assist with month-end reporting activities and annual sales/profit budget preparation.

Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in account management, preferably in the automotive industry.

  • Fluent in English

  • Proficiency with Excel (pivot tables)

  • knowledge of A/R and A/P

  • College diploma or university degree

  • Ability to work overtime and some weekends
