Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee complex projects across various domains, including IT, product development, and organizational initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with a proven track record in managing cross-functional teams and vendor relationships. This role involves applying industry-standard project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile, SAFe, Waterfall, and Kanban to ensure successful project delivery within scope, time, and budget constraints. The Project Manager will also be responsible for risk management, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure utilizing appropriate project management methodologies (PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall).
- Develop detailed project plans including scope, schedule, resource allocation, budgeting, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize project outcomes.
- Oversee project documentation using tools such as Confluence, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Workday, Basecamp, Primavera P6, Project Server.
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders through presentations and status reports to ensure transparency and stakeholder buy-in.
- Monitor project progress using data analysis skills and tools like Visio and SAS to identify potential issues early and implement corrective actions.
- Lead change management initiatives to support organizational transformation efforts.
- Ensure quality management standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively while adapting to changing priorities using tools like Primavera P6 or Workday.
- Drive product management activities including requirements management and product development coordination.
- Promote a collaborative team environment through effective leadership and organizational skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT project management or related fields with supervising experience in managing teams.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as PMBOK, Agile (Scrum), SAFe, Waterfall; familiarity with Kanban is a plus.
- Expertise in tools like Jira, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, ServiceNow, Visio; experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle is preferred.
- Demonstrated vendor management skills including negotiation and contract oversight.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with data collection and analysis for project reporting purposes.
- Knowledge of risk management practices and quality assurance standards.
- Familiarity with product management processes including requirements gathering and product lifecycle management.
