Job Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand and marketing strategies. This role requires a strong eye for visual storytelling, proficiency in various editing tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers and marketers. The Video Editor will play a key role in crafting engaging videos for digital platforms, social media, and promotional campaigns, ensuring all content is visually compelling and on-brand.

Responsibilities

  • Edit raw footage into polished videos suitable for multiple platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations
  • Incorporate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video storytelling using Adobe After Effects and other motion design tools
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to integrate visual elements such as logos, typography, and branding assets into video content
  • Develop creative concepts for video projects in line with marketing objectives
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Utilize graphic design skills to create complementary visual assets using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and Figma
  • Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding across all video content
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital design and video editing techniques to continuously improve output quality

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work
  • Proficiency in Final Cut Pro or Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator), along with familiarity with InVision and other visual design tools
  • Knowledge of UI design principles and experience creating motion graphics and logo animations
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress is a plus for integrating videos into web platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills with an eye for typography and visual aesthetics
  • Excellent presentation skills to communicate ideas effectively within the team and to clients
  • Experience with digital marketing strategies is desirable but not mandatory
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
