Job Summary

We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Server to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. Prior restaurant experience and familiarity with POS systems are highly valued.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
  • Use POS systems such to process orders accurately and efficiently
  • Greet guests promptly and provide exceptional customer service throughout their visit
  • Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurant / bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards
  • Ensure responsible serving by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal requirements
  • Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
  • Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment that promotes repeat business
  • Follow all food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
  • Familiarity with Micros POS or similar POS systems is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail
  • Hospitality mindset with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills
