Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Yoga Instructor to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will lead engaging yoga classes, promote a positive and inclusive environment, and help clients improve their physical and mental well-being. This role offers an opportunity to inspire others through the practice of yoga while fostering a supportive community focused on health and mindfulness.

Duties

  • Lead group and private yoga classes tailored to various skill levels and needs
  • Demonstrate proper techniques and postures, ensuring safety and effectiveness
  • Provide personalized guidance and modifications to accommodate individual abilities
  • Foster a welcoming, motivating, and inclusive atmosphere for all participants
  • Educate clients on yoga philosophy, breathing techniques, and wellness practices
  • Maintain class schedules, manage bookings, and ensure timely class start and end times
  • Support clients in setting and achieving their wellness goals
  • Promote upcoming classes, workshops, or special events to enhance community engagement

Requirements

  • Proficiency in English; bilingual skills in French or other languages are a plus
  • Previous teaching experience in yoga or related fitness disciplines preferred
  • Strong communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Effective time management to handle class schedules and client appointments
  • Leadership qualities to inspire confidence and foster a positive environment
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse audiences and skill levels
  • Certification in yoga instruction from a recognized organization is preferred but not mandatory
