**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Front Desk Responsibilities**:

- Customer Service**: Greet clients and families as they enter the studio, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
**- Check-In & Scheduling**: Assist clients with class check-ins, cancellations, and rescheduling. Handle sign-ups for yoga classes, memberships, and workshops.
**- Studio Maintenance**: Ensure the front desk, lobby, and yoga studios are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies (towels, water, props, etc.).
**- Administrative Support**: Assist with paperwork, data entry, and record-keeping related to memberships, class attendance, and sales.

**Afterschool Yoga Assistant Responsibilities**:

- Child Supervision**: Supervise and ensure the safety of children during afterschool yoga classes, activities, and transitions between spaces.
**- Assist the Instructor**:Support the lead yoga instructor by setting up the space, distributing props, and helping children with yoga poses and activities.
**- Engage with Children**: Build positive relationships with the children, encouraging participation in yoga and mindfulness practices. Foster a supportive and fun environment.
**- Behavior Management**: Monitor children’s behavior during the class and maintain a calm, focused atmosphere.
**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Experience in Customer Service**: Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role is preferred.
**- Experience with Children**: Prior experience working with children in a school, camp, or afterschool setting is a plus.
**- Passion for Yoga & Wellness**: A genuine interest in yoga, mindfulness, and health. Yoga practice experience is beneficial but not required.
**- Communication Skills**: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to engage warmly and professionally with clients, children, and parents.
**- Organizational Skills**: Excellent time management and organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
**Work Schedule**:

- Availability to work during after school hours (3 PM - 6 PM).

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 12 per week

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
