Position: Senior Java DeveloperLocation: Toronto, Canada (On-site mandatory 2 days per week)

Experience- 8+ yearsExperience: Minimum 5 years hands-on with Java Microservices and strong database and data modelling skills Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain applications using Java (versions 11 to 21) and Spring Boot (2 to 3).
  • Strong SQL querying skills for extracting data and ability to write complex joins, subqueries, aggregations, etc.
  • Optimizing data models and load scripts and reducing application size and improving refresh/load times.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Implement and test RESTful services using Mockito, Swagger, OAuth, Hibernate, and relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases.
  • Collaborate proactively with client teams, demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and clear communication.
  • Manage client stakeholder communication effectively.
  • Work closely with business intelligence platform like QlikSense/Qlikview on use cases like ETL pipelines, reporting, optimization of data model.

Technical Skills Required:

  • Java: Hands-on experience with versions 11 through 21.
  • Spring Boot: Versions 2 and 3.
  • RDMBS: SQL, Joins, Data modelling
  • Testing & API tools: Mockito, Swagger
