About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and result-oriented Internal Solutions Sales Lead to join our Data Cognition Team at BMO Capital Markets. In this role, you will drive the commercialization and adoption of internally developed AI and data products across business units. You will partner with product, analytics, and technology teams to develop go-to-market strategies, build high-performance sales processes, and deliver compelling solutions that maximize business impact. This role requires strong relationship-building, sales acumen, and a passion for enabling innovation within the enterprise.

Our Team

The Data Cognition Team (DCT) at BMO Capital Markets delivers a scalable, customizable, and sustainable suite of AI-enabled products for multiple business units. We leverage advanced data and analytics technologies to solve complex business challenges and drive strategic transformation across Investment Banking, Global Markets, and other divisions.

Key Responsibilities

· Lead the internal sales strategy and execution for AI and data products, driving adoption and revenue growth across business units.

· Develop and implement targeted go-to-market plans, positioning solutions to meet the needs of internal stakeholders.

· Build and manage a pipeline of internal clients, identifying opportunities for product deployment and expansion.

· Partner with Product, Data, and Technology teams to launch new solutions, refine product positioning, and optimize pricing strategies.

· Deliver presentations, demos, and training sessions to educate internal teams on product capabilities and value propositions.

· Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, product owners, and end users.

· Track and report on sales performance, adoption metrics, and client feedback to inform product development and strategy.

· Represent the Data Cognition Team at internal conferences, workshops, and roadshows to promote product offerings.

· Collaborate with marketing to develop collateral, campaigns, and communication materials that support product adoption.

· Ensure compliance with regulatory, risk, and governance requirements in all sales and commercialization activities.

Qualifications

· 5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or commercialization, preferably within financial services or technology.

· Proven success driving revenue growth and expanding client bases through targeted sales strategies.

· Experience leading sales for data, analytics, or technology products, with a track record of exceeding targets.

· Strong understanding of AI, data analytics, and financial services business models.

· Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Experience with CRM tools, sales mapping, and account management best practices.

· Ability to work in high-paced environments, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.

Nice to Have

· Experience launching new products and solutions within an enterprise environment.

· Familiarity with Capital Markets operational structure, regulatory requirements and governance frameworks.

· Experience developing marketing materials and supporting product campaigns.

· Participation in industry conferences, trade shows, or client education events.

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.

BMO Financial Group's total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
