Job Summary

We are seeking an Auto Body Apprentice that has completed their level 1 or 2 with automotive experience to join our automotive repair team. The ideal candidate will have a background knowledge of all motor vehicle types, disassembly, reassembly, prep before paint work while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment with a focus on precision and craftsmanship.

Duties

  • Repair and restore vehicle bodies following manufacturer specifications and safety standards
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting techniques to remove dents, and replace panels
  • Conduct paint preparation, sanding, and finishing to achieve a seamless appearance
  • Assess vehicle damage and provide accurate estimates for repairs
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
  • Maintain a CLEAN and ORGANIZED work area to promote safety and efficiency
  • Perform diagnostic checks related to collision damage and mechanical issues when necessary

Requirements

  • Prior automotive repair experience recommended
  • Will need to supply your own tools
  • Mechanical knowledge preferred of vehicle systems and repair techniques
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
  • Ability to work with automotive paints, fillers, and sanding materials
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team environment while adhering to safety protocols
  • Availability to work overtime as required

This position is integral to delivering exceptional automotive repair services to our insurance and fleet partners as well as our direct to customer base. Candidates should be dedicated professionals with a passion for vehicle restoration and customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
