Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Administrative Coordinator to join our internal team in downtown Calgary. This position is designated for Indigenous applicants in alignment with our commitment to advancing Indigenous employment and reconciliation. The role is well suited for early-career professionals or recent graduates from college or university programs who want hands-on administrative, payroll, and software experience. The successful applicant will work under our Office Administrator and receive guided mentorship, structured training, and ongoing development.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the setup, configuration, and implementation of time field and time capture invoicing software
Support general recordkeeping and maintain accurate internal files
Assist with payroll processing and related administrative tasks
Prepare, organize, and update documents as required
Provide support to the Office Administrator in daily operations
Contribute to data entry and system accuracy across internal platforms
Qualifications:
Completion of a college diploma or university degree in business administration, office management, accounting, HR, or a related field
Strong interest in building a long-term administrative or operational career
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Solid organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Exposure to payroll, invoicing, or business systems through coursework, practicums, or internships
Experience working with or within Indigenous communities
Interest in learning payroll systems, administrative software, and operational processes
Work Environment:
Office-based role in downtown Calgary within a collaborative, supportive setting
Standard office equipment used daily
Direct guidance provided by the Office Administrator and leadership team
