About The Role
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $80, ,000 CAD/year
Remote Work: Hybrid (In-Office 2 days)
As a key member of our team, you'll be working within a fast-growing, fun technology company that provides an inspiring environment, a positive culture, and great people This role directly impacts delivering leading-edge SaaS technology in the eCommerce/payments/shipping sector for the North American market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Process Optimization
- Evaluate and refine development workflows to improve efficiency, scalability, and performance.
- Define and document technical project requirements, including timelines, dependencies, risks, and success metrics.
- Work closely with senior leadership to align project goals with broader company objectives.
Project Execution & Delivery
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product, engineering, marketing, and sales—to define project priorities and scope.
- Ensure all technical projects meet scalability, security, and performance requirements.
- Manage multiple development teams working across different technology stacks, ensuring smooth coordination and integration.
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Act as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable development plans.
- Facilitate clear communication across teams to prevent roadblocks and ensure alignment.
- Track project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably within software development.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Software Development or working closely with development teams.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of software development processes, product lifecycle management, and agile methodologies.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Required: Experience with managing enterprise web application projects
- Beneficial: Familiarity with Java, , , and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools like Asana or Jira.
- Understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
