We are hiring a Supervision Aide to work in VTT's Bayit Program for the 2025/26 school year. This position is a part-time position from 3:30pm to 5:15pm one day a week (currently Fridays, with the possibility to work additional hours).

Candidates need not be Jewish, but must be receptive and open to working in a Jewish day school environment.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children in large groups
  • Can help facilitate games and activities for students
  • Has a positive attitude and works well with others
  • Good communication skills
  • Excellent conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather
  • Responsible for supervising students in VTT's After School (Bayit) Program.
  • Ensure student safety and that students comply with school rules, ensuring appropriate behavior.
  • Intervene in potentially unsafe play situations and facilitate conflict resolutions between students.
  • Walking and standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Required to circulate the school grounds, focus on your surroundings and remain alert at all times.
  • Formal education/training is an asset.
  • Consent to a criminal ("CRC") record/vulnerable sector check and provide a resulting valid CRC
  • Maintain, at all times, the legal authorization to work in Canada
