Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to create high-quality custom cabinets and furniture. This role requires attention to detail, creativity and proficiency with various tools and techniques. The Cabinet Maker will work closely with clients and designers to bring their visions to life while ensuring that all projects meet quality standards.
Duties
- Construct, assemble, and finish cabinets and furniture according to specifications and design plans.
- Utilize power tools and woodworking machinery safely and effectively.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood materials using hand tools.
- Apply finishes such as stains, paints, or varnishes to enhance the appearance of the products.
- Collaborate with team members on project timelines and deliverables.
- Perform quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist in other construction-related tasks as needed, including drywall installation, caulking, tile laying, flooring installation, concrete forming, and construction painting.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cabinet Maker or in a similar woodworking role.
- Proficiency in using power tools and woodworking machinery.
- Strong understanding of construction techniques including drywall installation and flooring installation is preferred.
- Familiarity with CNC machinery is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills.
- Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods.
- A valid driver's license may be required for transportation of materials or equipment.
