The Role

The Manager, Deployment Projects will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of Solink deployments while ensuring operational efficiency and growth targets are met. This role is responsible for team leadership and optimizing key deployment processes, managing project timelines, and fostering collaboration across teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong project management background, combined with a deep understanding of deployment operations, to meet and exceed company objectives.

What You'll Do
  • You will lead a team of the Deployment Project Managers and Deployment Project Coordinators responsible for the successful installation of our product.

  • You will develop a consistent and equal distribution of installations while maintaining operational predictability and efficiency.

  • You will serve as the primary liaison for Sales, Operations, and external contractors to ensure smooth coordination, address any inter-team or customer conflicts, and maintain a collaborative working environment.

  • You will develop processes to continuously evaluate and reduce the average time required to close and complete tickets by optimizing key deployment execution areas throughout the lifecycle of projects.

  • You will actively manage and maintain a clean and efficient backlog of deployment tickets, increasing the percentage of active tickets. You will implement and oversee a robust clawback and ticket extinction process to reduce the backlog.

  • You will drive initiatives to lower installation and delivery costs without compromising quality or efficiency.

  • You will consistently meet and exceed the company's growth objectives by ensuring the successful deployment of the targeted number of sites per month.

  • You will foster a high-performance, "all-in" team culture focused on dedication, accountability, and achieving and exceeding performance targets. You will encourage a customer-first mindset to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

  • You will partner with stakeholders across different departments to streamline processes and ensure smooth execution of deployment projects.

  • You will analyze deployment processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.

What You Bring

Must-Have:

  • You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.

  • You have 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on software deployment or operations.

  • You have demonstrated the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive process improvements.

  • You have experience in scheduling and optimizing operational workflows in a technical environment.

  • You have strong leadership skills with a focus on fostering high-performance teams.

  • You have excellent problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to manage cross-team relationships and resolve conflicts.

  • You have familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, or MS Project.

Nice-to-Have:

  • You have PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.

  • You have experience with Video SaaS.

  • You've taken ownership of introducing new project management tools—from identifying the right solution to ensuring a smooth rollout and successful team adoption.

Security Requirements
  • Candidates must undergo a criminal records check upon hire;

  • Be a Canadian Citizen (dual citizens included), or eligible to work in Canada;

  • Be willing to comply with Solink's own security policies and standards.
