Mogano Jewelry is currently looking for enthusiastic Seasonal Sales Associates to join our retail team for the holiday season in our beautiful Kelowna store location. These positions will also support our weekend markets and holiday events throughout the Okanagan Valley. The right individuals for these roles love the buzz of the holiday season, are naturally warm and welcoming with customers, and bring positive energy that makes shopping at Mogano a memorable experience. This person is outgoing, great at striking up conversations with strangers, and genuinely enjoys helping people find pieces that make them feel confident and celebrated.

The Seasonal Sales Associate positions are part-time roles, working approximately 15-25 hours per week, with training beginning ASAP and positions running through January 5, 2026. Availability over the busy holiday period (December 5 - January 2, excluding December 24, 25 & January 1) is REQUIRED. We need team members who are available on weekends, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some evenings for special events. The compensation for this role is $18 per hour, plus an amazing 35% staff discount on all Mogano merchandise and shared tips from permanent jewelry appointments

Retail experience is helpful but not required — we're happy to train the right person who has the right attitude and energy You are someone who thrives in a team environment, is comfortable talking to strangers, and can easily engage customers in genuine conversation. You bring a positive, can-do attitude even during the busiest moments, and you're flexible and willing to jump in wherever you're needed.

You're also comfortable on camera and contributing to social media content — whether that's being featured in Instagram stories, TikToks, or helping showcase the Mogano experience online. You're someone who takes pride in doing things right, pays attention to the details, and loves being part of creating something special for customers during the holiday season.

This role is perfect for someone who wants to gain valuable retail experience, be part of a growing brand, and potentially turn this seasonal opportunity into something more permanent. Strong performers may be invited back for future seasons or considered for full-time positions as the business grows

The Role and Responsibilities

The Seasonal Sales Associate role is all about creating wonderful customer experiences during our busiest and most exciting time of year. This hands-on role will:

• Reporting to the Store Manager and Lead Sales Associate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a warm, welcoming environment for every customer who walks through our doors.
• Engaging with customers through genuine conversation, helping them find the perfect pieces for themselves or as gifts for their loved ones.
• Educating customers about the Mogano brand, our skin-safe jewelry, and what makes our pieces special.
• Assisting customers in finding specific items and suggesting complementary pieces to complete their look.
• Supporting permanent jewelry appointments and custom engraving services, ensuring customers have a memorable and seamless experience.
• Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and maintaining accuracy with all sales.
• Packing and fulfilling online orders with care and attention to detail.
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, ensuring the store is secure and ready for the next day.
• Maintaining visual standards — keeping displays, counters, and the store beautifully organized and on-brand.
• Collaborating with the team to keep the store clean and tidy, including sweeping, cleaning, and restocking merchandise.
• Supporting inventory management and restocking to ensure we're always ready for our customers.
• Being comfortable on camera and contributing to social media content that showcases the Mogano brand and connects with our community.
• Assisting with weekend markets and holiday events, including set-up, tear-down, and creating an amazing experience for customers at community activations.
• Being flexible and jumping in wherever you're needed — especially during the busy holiday rush

Education & Experience

• Retail or customer service experience is preferred, but we're happy to train the right person with the right attitude and energy
• Previous experience in jewelry or accessories is helpful but not required.
• Must be outgoing, friendly, and genuinely comfortable talking to strangers and making conversation.
• Must be a dependable team player who shows up on time and ready to work.
• Comfortable being on camera and contributing to social media content.
• Willing to be flexible and adaptable — able to shift gears quickly during busy periods.
• Positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for helping customers.
• MUST be available during the busy holiday period (December 5 - January 2, excluding December 24, 25 & January 1).
• MUST be available on weekends, Wednesdays, Fridays, and some evenings for events.
• A true love for making people feel great and helping them find pieces they'll treasure
