Associate Producer (Tech)

We are looking for an Associate Producer to join our Engine organization on Apex Legends, supporting technical teams that power the technology behind our games. You'll collaborate closely with engineers, producers, QV partners and cross-functional teammates to ensure our development processes run smoothly, our goals are clear, and our teams deliver high-quality results efficiently.

We're picturing someone who can facilitate communication across the team, support complex workflow dependencies, identify and mitigate risks, foster relationships with key stakeholders and be a key component in our team hitting our development goals. You'll work with a Technical Producer to strengthen your production craft - learning how to balance people and process, turn uncertainty into clarity, and keep teams motivated and focused through delivery. You care about the people - your team - and balance their needs against the needs of feature and content teams, and the game direction at large.

What you'll do...

  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives - removing roadblocks and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Partner closely with engineering leads and stakeholders on delivery of technical projects - tracking progress, managing risks, and communicating updates clearly.
  • Analyze current development pipelines, identify inefficiencies, and implement tools or practices that enhance team productivity and collaboration.
  • Balance project scope with team capacity to ensure realistic planning and successful delivery.
  • Be a conduit of communication, bring clarity between departments, and provide support to the team in multiple capacities.
  • Maintain daily priorities that align with overall game/feature vision.
  • Be a force to keep moving things forward, providing a strong sense of direction to the team.
  • Partner with other Producers to support overall efforts of the department and help define and encourage production best practices.
  • Tell the story of your programs and projects through roadmaps, reports, documentation, stakeholder communications and additional tools.
  • Plan and execute sprints and releases using tools like Jira and Confluence.

Ideally you will have...

  • 1-3 years of experience in a producer, project manager, or program manager role, ideally within game development or software engineering environments (or equivalent)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional dependencies.
  • A curiosity-first mindset and eagerness to learn more about technical challenges and solutions.
  • A proactive mindset and a passion for helping others succeed.
  • An affinity for relationship-building and solid people skills.
  • A basic understanding of game development methodologies.
  • Experience working with waterfall and Agile planning methods.
  • Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.
  • A genuine passion for supporting people and helping teams achieve their goals.

If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Please submit your resume - we'll be in touch after reviewing your application.
