As a Producer on the team, you will partner with team leaders to help plan, guide, and deliver game experiences within the FC Experience Team. Collaborate with producers and game designers across teams to inspire creative vision and guide development, ensuring smooth delivery of new experiences. You'll prioritize based on analytic insights, player sentiment, and target metrics, pushing creative boundaries and maintaining high product quality in a hybrid work environment.
On EA SPORTS FC, Producers are the bridge between the design team and project managers, overseeing what experiences we build, why we build them, and managing the delivery of them to our players.
Responsibilities:
- Craft detailed directions for features you are responsible for and own messaging to team members and partners.
- Use player information to influence the goals and design for features you are leading and contributing to.
- Use an understanding of the competitor landscape, market opportunities and player expectations to shape the product vision.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure technical feasibility and understanding of creative goals.
- Work with the team production leads to establish roadmaps for game experiences, aligning with the broader goals of EA SPORTS titles and EA.
- Work with Production, Art, Design, and Engineering leads to improve quality, communication and coordination.
- Partner with Development Directors to manage the project schedule, milestones and sprint deliverables.
- Partner with Art, UX, Engineering, QA, and Design teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of all deliverables are met.
- Engage with other partner teams including publishing, marketing, finance, legal, consumer insights, and game analytics.
- You will be the bridge between the Design team and Project Managers, overseeing what experiences we build, why we build them, and managing the delivery of them to our players.
- You will report to the production leader of your area.
Qualifications:
- An experienced Producer with 5+ years of experience in game production, entertainment, or technology-focused roles.
- Understand competitive analysis on gaps, innovations or trends in the gaming or related industries.
- Understand the types of functionality that make games in the genre a success (i.e., mechanics, business model, visuals, gameplay and audio).
- Understand the quality expectations concerning the video game and entertainment industry, including review scoring and player sentiment.
- Knowledge of business models and monetization, and how it applies to their product and genre.
- A love for working with a diverse group of people to accomplish something great as a team.
- A passion for pioneering and encouraging others to consider different perspectives.
- A master of influence, helping others understand and become passionate about their work.
- An accomplished mediator and resolver of conflicts.
- Familiar with Scrum and agile development concepts.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
