JOB DESCRIPTION

  • The licensed optician is accountable for ensuring that all optical service is fulfilled.
  • The licensed optician will sell, adjust and validate glasses with ophthalmic lenses while offering a professional and courteous service to our MUJOSH customers.
  • Passionate and fashionable student optician for our MUJOSH store to help our customers find the perfect fashion MUJOSH frame and sun glasses and to deliver the best possible overall customer experience.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Successful completion of an accredited refraction educational program and registered as a refracting Optician with the College of Opticians in ON
  • Love for fashion and trends, and eager to bring your customers with eyewear fashion advice.
  • Team spirit, Positive, high energy, and eager to learn
  • Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise
  • Minimum 2-years experience in an optical store or lab with optical dispensing experience
  • Familiar with lens edging
  • A background in retail, management, fashion would be an asset.
  • Job Types: Part-time
  • Flexible availability (day, evening, week-end and holiday)

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Communicate MUJOSH's culture and brand philosophy to customers
  • Responsible for training new sales associates on all optical aspect of the business
  • Find the best and most suitable MUJOSH products for customers
  • Provide the best customer service in MUJOSH stores
  • Advise customers on frames, sun glasses and styling of products
  • Accurately describe features and benefits of various lenses product
  • Educates the customer on MUJOSH' guarantees and services including: eyewear care tips, complimentary adjustments, follow-up services and warranties.
  • Ensures finished eyewear meets MUJOSH' standards and customer requirements/requests.
  • Operate edger and lens meter
  • Developing a strong working relationship with your in-store Optometrist.
  • Responsible for opening and closing store
  • Process cash transactions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
