Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Drive engineering deliverables involving industrial controls through the phase gate processes
  • Take ownership of the project management life cycle for engineering projects
  • Oversee and maintain project schedules, budgets, quality standards throughout the development cycle
  • Coordinate, lead and motivate project teams, and maintain and create positive relationships with stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor and coach project teams and improve overall project management effectiveness
  • Manage and maintain documentation control, financial components, and deliverable traceability and project progress
  • Prepare and present regular project updates to internal and external stakeholders
    Identify risks and create contingency plans

Who you are:

  • 5-7 years of proven engineering or technical project management experience to successful completion
  • Bachelors in Electrical, Mechatronics, Mechanical or relevant degree
  • Proven experience in owning projects relating to industrial controls or large industrial controls
  • Understanding of PLCs, Scada, HMIs, and industrial protocols
  • Skilled in using PLMs or deliverable traceability tracking / documentation tools i.e. JAMA, JIRA, Confluence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and scheduling software i.e. MS Project, WBS-Gantt
  • Organized, and adept at tracking project resources, budgets and mitigating risks
  • Team player with the ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Innovative, adaptable, and committed to finding solutions
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, self-development and lifelong learning
  • PMP designation is an asset
