Steamworks Brewery is currently hiring a full-time Warehouse Assistant for our Brewery's Burnaby warehouse. A strong work ethic, ability to multitask and stay focused, capability of working individually as well as with a team, as well as a love for Steamworks beer is required. Preference will be given to someone with experience and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trucks and trailers with sit down counterbalance forklift/electric pallet jack
  • Assist in scheduling, coordinating, and prioritizing deliveries with various warehouses and vendors
  • Receive and process orders in ERP system (SAP)
  • Distribute and maintain inventories of materials/supplies daily
  • Daily inventory counting
  • Adhere to company policies and safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Assist in facility maintenance as required
  • Various warehouse tasks

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift 80lbs
  • 2+ years forklift experience and valid forklift ticket
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Positive attitude & eagerness to learn
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Computer Savvy
  • Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
  • Class 5 Driver's License (an asset)
