Qualifications
- At least 2-4 years Red Seal experience
- Valid driver's license
- A strong awareness of quality control
- Must be able to keep a clean work area at all times
- Ability to obtain & complete tasks
- Ability to operate company and customer vehicles in a clean and safe manner
- Ability to complete reports to record problems and work performed
- Ability to be cross trained in different areas
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong awareness of quality control
- Perform preventative & predictive maintenance
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction & perform repairs to manufacture's specifications
- Proficiency in vehicle and equipment diagnosis and repair.
- Knowledge of fuel, ignition, cooling, mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, air brake systems
- Knowledge of safety procedures/practices while operating/repairing vehicles and equipment.
- Skills in operating tools, equipment, parts and procedures utilized during the repair and
servicing of vehicles and equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate required repairs or tasks.
- Ability to diagnose defects in and repair a variety of equipment and vehicles.
- Ability to perform moderately complex mechanical repair on a variety of equipment and
vehicles.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems and ability to read hydraulic schematic.
- Ability to read and comprehend service and technical information.
- Ability to utilize fleet maintenance software program.
- Knowledge of Total Tire Maintenance program.
- Ability to complete required paperwork to accurately document repairs, utilization of parts and
associated repair times.
