As a Truck and Transport Mechanic, you will be an integral part of the maintenance and repair department, supporting a team committed to excellence and safety. Job Title: Truck and Transport Mechanic Location: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia Pay Range: Depends on Experience Shift: Afternoon shift What's the Job? Perform mechanical repairs and maintenance on trucks and trailers to ensure optimal performance and safety. Diagnose electromechanical issues using specialized tools and diagnostic equipment. Conduct inspections and identify necessary repairs or replacements. Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inspections. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems and implement effective solutions. What's Needed? Valid Red Seal Mechanic certification or equivalent licensing. Experience with heavy equipment and truck/trailer mechanical repair. Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and diagnostics. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards. What's in it for me?
