Overview
This role is for an experienced Engineer (E5 level) who applies advanced engineering knowledge to deliver innovative design, planning, estimating, and quality management services. You'll work on medium- to high-complexity projects, ensuring work is completed safely, with quality, on time, and within budget.
What You Will Be Doing
- Apply at least
10 years of engineering experience
to develop safe and effective engineering solutions. - Create designs, interpret specifications, analyze issues, and resolve technical challenges for medium- to highly complex assignments.
- Support project performance by:
- Proposing updates to plans and cost estimates
- Recommending contractor payments
- Preparing progress reports
- Coordinating schedules and workflows
- Independently analyze and solve unusual or highly technical design and field problems.
What You Need to Have
- P.Eng.
or
P.Geo.
designation with Engineers & Geoscientists BC, or eligibility for registration. - Ability to use
digital sign-and-seal technology
(e.g., Notarius). - Intermediate English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Familiarity with
CAD systems
and drawing standards. - Ability to use standard industry
design and analysis software
. - Intermediate proficiency in
MS Office
(Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
