Role Summary

The Junior Graphic Designer supports the creation and adaptation of visual materials for both print and digital use. This role focuses on executing design tasks under guidance, maintaining brand consistency, and preparing accurate, production-ready files.

The position requires proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, with a strong emphasis on packaging design, editorial layout, and basic web design. The Junior Graphic Designer is responsible for adapting existing designs, organizing project files, and ensuring accuracy across multiple formats.

This role involves preparing print-ready files for small- and large-format production. Strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to follow specifications are essential.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and adaptation of artwork for packaging, print, and digital applications
  • Update, resize, and adapt existing designs to meet various format, platform, and production requirements
  • Prepare accurate, print-ready files in accordance with printer and production specifications
  • Support editorial layout tasks, including page formatting, typography, and image placement
  • Apply and maintain brand guidelines consistently across all design materials
  • Collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to implement feedback and revisions
  • Organize, label, and archive design files according to internal standards
  • Assist with basic web and digital assets, including banners, social media graphics, and simple web layouts
  • Manage multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines and project requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Strong attention to detail and file accuracy
  • Understanding of print production processes and specifications
  • Ability to follow creative direction and brand guidelines
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience in packaging or regulated industries is an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
