About the Role:

The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in establishing relationships and marketing the company's brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional. The responsibility of an Inside Sales Representative is directly linked to successful outcomes resulting from customer retention and word-of-mouth sales. The Inside Sales Representative combines superior listening and communication skills with an outgoing personality to build instant rapport and further the organization's business initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers and prospective customers via inbound and outbound calls, sometimes following an outlined script to advertise our products, in a way that is professional and honest.
  • Work with your team members to facilitate calls, manage workflow, and minimize hold times throughout the sales process.
  • Facilitate the entire sales process from the initiation of the original call through finalization of account set-up for each customer you speak with.
  • Research and understand our product line and be familiar with each product's function and purpose, so you can confidently identify opportunities to recommend products that add value for our customers.
  • Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information so it is readily accessible for reference.
  • Listen attentively to customer questions and provide answers that are knowledgeable and insightful.
  • Showcase the company's strengths and highlight our brand by talking about the characteristics that make our organization unique.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to discuss benchmarks and goals for the upcoming week.

What You Bring:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience in a customer facing role, in either a sales or service environment, either in retail or a call center environment.
  • Basic Customer Service skills to confidently and accurately address customers' needs
  • Experience with B2B / B2C considered an asset
  • Organizational and multitasking skills
  • Tech savvy, with strong computer and technical skills
  • Experience with a CRM and other sales technologies is considered an asset
  • Attention to detail to accurately process invoices
  • Professional demeanor and telephone etiquette

  • Location: ON-SITE: Oakville, Ontario or Winnipeg, Manitoba
  • Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually
  • Variable compensation: Annual performance bonus eligibility + commissions
  • Vacation: Starting at 3 weeks
