Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Clinical Psychologist located in West Perth, ON. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing evidence-based treatment to individuals facing diverse mental health challenges. Day-to-day tasks will involve conducting therapy sessions, maintaining client progress reports, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and supporting clients in achieving their mental health goals. The Clinical Psychologist will also participate in team meetings and contribute to the clinic's commitment to high-quality care and ethical practice.
Qualifications
- Expertise in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches
- Strong skills in interpersonal communication, active listening, and client relationship building
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate documentation and adhering to ethical and regulatory standards
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Registration with AHPRA and meeting their codes of practice
- A minimum of a Postgraduate Master's Degree or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology
- Prior experience in treating diverse mental health disorders is highly desirable
- Commitment to providing client-centered and culturally competent care
