À propos du rôle:

Le rôle de Nettoyeur/Associé(e) à l'entretien consiste à maintenir la propreté et l'ordre de l'immeuble en effectuant les tâches prévues à l'horaire de nettoyage, lequel dépend de la structure de l'équipe de l'immeuble. La personne titulaire du poste est également responsable de l'entretien général, préventif et réparateur d'un immeuble unique ou d'un portefeuille d'immeubles, ainsi que des logements et des terrains.

Responsabilités principales:

  • Veiller à offrir un niveau supérieur de coopération, de service et de soutien aux résidents

  • S'assurer que les normes de propreté de l'immeuble sont maintenues au plus haut niveau

  • Répondre rapidement aux problèmes et aux demandes de service des résidents

  • Effectuer les tâches prévues à l'horaire de nettoyage ou celles assignées par le ou la gestionnaire d'immeuble / gestionnaire régional(e)

  • Inspecter les terrains, les installations et l'équipement afin de déterminer si des réparations ou de l'entretien préventif sont nécessaires

  • Respecter les politiques et procédures de sécurité (ex.: utilisation de produits de nettoyage, utilisation de la machinerie, déclaration d'incidents, etc.)

  • Faire preuve de flexibilité, puisque les tâches peuvent changer selon les besoins de l'immeuble

  • Respecter les procédures de santé et sécurité en utilisant l'équipement requis, en identifiant les pratiques et conditions dangereuses et en maintenant un environnement de travail propre et sécuritaire

  • Effectuer de l'entretien général et spécialisé ainsi que des réparations sur les propriétés du site et les propriétés avoisinantes sous la direction du gestionnaire régional ou du gestionnaire d'immeuble

  • Tenir à jour et à temps la documentation relative aux activités d'entretien

Exigences du poste

Formation & Expérience:

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires (DES) ou diplôme d'équivalence (GED), un atout

  • 1+ année d'expérience en entretien ménager et maintenance, un atout

  • Une expérience dans l'industrie multirésidentielle ou un secteur connexe est considérée comme un atout

  • Expérience en entretien d'immeuble/propriété

  • Maîtrise de l'utilisation d'outils manuels de base et d'outils électriques

  • Connaissances en plomberie, électricité, cloison sèche, menuiserie, peinture, etc.

  • Engagement envers un service à la clientèle « Meilleure Classe »

  • Attitude professionnelle et excellentes compétences en communication

  • Capacité d'écouter, comprendre et répondre adéquatement aux situations

  • Capacité de travailler et d'agir de manière autonome en faisant preuve de jugement face à des situations difficiles

  • Personne autonome avec une attitude positive du type « je peux le faire » et « aucune tâche n'est trop grande ou trop petite »

  • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et de gestion du temps, avec capacité à gérer plusieurs tâches, prioriser et respecter des délais serrés

  • Flexibilité pour travailler sur appel selon un horaire rotatif (soir et fin de semaine)

About the Position:

The Cleaner/Maintenance role maintains the cleanliness and orderliness of the building by performing duties as outlined in a cleaning schedule which is dependent on the buildings team structure. The incumbent is also responsible for general, preventative and repair maintenance of a single complex or portfolio of buildings as well as apartment units and grounds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that a superior level of co-operation, service and support is provided to Residents
  • Ensure building cleaning standards are maintained to the highest level
  • Promptly respond to resident issues and service requests
  • Perform the routine on the cleaning schedule or carry out tasks assigned by the Building Manager/Area Manager
  • Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment to determine if repairs or preventative maintenance is required
  • Comply with proper safety policies and procedures as required (i.e. when using cleaning chemicals, operating machinery, reporting incidents, etc.)
  • Demonstrate flexibility, as tasks may change based on building requirements
  • Comply with health & safety procedures ensuring the use of required safety equipment and identifying unsafe practices and conditions while maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Perform general and specialized maintenance and repairs to site properties and surrounding properties under the direction of the Regional Manager or Building Manager
  • Maintain regular and timely documentation of maintenance activities

 
Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • Completion of High School or general education degree (GED) an asset
  • 1+ years of cleaning and maintenance experience an asset
  • Exposure to the multi-residential or other related industry asset class would be considered an asset
  • Building/Property Maintenance experience
  • Proficient with use of basic handheld and electrical tools
  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, drywall, carpentry, painting, etc.

  • Ability to accurately listen, understand and respond to issues appropriately
  • Ability to work and act independently using good judgment when assessing difficult situations

  • Superior organization and time management skills with the ability to multitask/prioritize and work under tight timelines
  • Flexibility to work on-call on a rotating schedule (evenings & weekends)
