Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician and/or Electrical Apprentice (minimum 4 years experience) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial and construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes, schematics, and safety procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations. The Electrician will work closely with project managers and other trades to deliver high-quality electrical solutions that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Duties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan electrical installations and repairs
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring and power distribution equipment
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues or hazards
- Perform wiring, conduit bending, and circuit testing in accordance with electrical codes and safety regulations
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical work within larger project timelines
- Document work performed and report on system status or required repairs
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal electrical codes
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or construction settings
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and technical diagrams
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in electrical work
- Experience working with low voltage systems and industrial electrical components
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately
- Knowledge of safety standards related to electrical installations and maintenance
- Relevant electrician licensing or certification preferred but not mandatory for entry-level positions
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $18.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
