The Role

Our Declaration Wine & Spirits Division is looking for a Field Sales Associate to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The Field Sales Associate is responsible for increasing sales through volume and distribution gains in the assigned territory - Regina and the surrounding area. The Field Sales Associate will be expected to produce results that meet and exceed distribution, merchandising, and sales objectives across all aspects of the Declaration Wine & Spirits and Mark Anthony Brands portfolios including global leading wine, spirits and RTD (Ready to Drink) brands such as: White Claw, Mott's Clamato, Dillon's, La Marca, High Noon, Barefoot, Apothic, White Haven, Cavit, Pink Whitney, Rum Chata, and Louis Martini just to name a few. 

Sales

  • Pre-plan and execute sales calls to new and existing customers on master route. Types of assigned accounts vary by territory and may consist of retail (liquor stores, independent retailers), and on premise (restaurants, hotels, and other similar venues)
  • Execute variable monthly display promotions in merchandisable accounts according to standards
  • Keep abreast of competitive trends and report appropriate developments
  • Build quality relationships with customers

Budget Management

  • Control operating and A&P expenses and manage budget and expenses appropriately
  • Deliver and exceed on annual budget for assigned territory in terms of revenue and distribution

Administration

  • Monitor and track marketing programs
  • Attend and participate in events, training, meetings and coordinate & conduct tastings and events as required
  • Review and prepare reports/sales materials
  • Use of Salesforce to set weekly route plan and manage objectives

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Related
  • 1+ Years of Sales or Customer Service Experience
  • Driver's license and car required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with personal computers and business applications
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects at one time
