We are looking for an experienced AWS Consultant to provide on-demand support for our AWS environment and perform periodic assessments to ensure best practices. The consultant will assist with critical issues such as storage expansion, network troubleshooting, and environment optimization. SAP BASIS experience is a strong plus, as some coordination with SAP systems may be required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-demand support for AWS infrastructure issues (compute, storage, networking).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve critical incidents related to AWS services.
  • Perform environment assessment for security, performance, and cost optimization.
  • Assist with file space increases, network configuration, and connectivity issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and, if applicable, SAP BASIS resources for system-level coordination.
  • Document findings and recommendations for improvements.

Required Skills & Experience:

AWS Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, and Systems Manager.
  • Experience with AWS architecture design and optimization.
  • Familiarity with HA/DR strategies on AWS.

SAP Knowledge (Preferred):

  • Understanding of SAP ECC architecture and components.
  • SAP BASIS experience (installation, configuration, performance tuning) is a big plus.

Certifications:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator preferred.

Engagement Model:

Remote with Part Time/On-need basis (5-10/hours per week)

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 10 per week
