Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Collector based in Erin, ON, with flexibility for some remote work. The Senior Collector will be responsible for managing and resolving overdue accounts, maintaining detailed records of customer interactions, and negotiating payment arrangements. Additional responsibilities include adhering to compliance guidelines, analyzing account information, and collaborating with the team to achieve department goals. This role emphasizes exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to ensure successful outcomes for both clients and customers.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service
• Proficiency in account analysis, payment arrangement structuring, and financial record management
• Experience with compliance regulations, attention to detail, and adherence to industry standards
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
• Previous experience in the collections industry or a related financial field is an asset
• Proficiency with relevant software or technology tools
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are an advantage
