In a sector undergoing a major transformation, claims specialists play a key role: they proactively and responsibly manage claims while also contributing to people's well-being and financial security. Join an engaged team where professional development, a stimulating work environment and employee wellness are top priorities. More specifically, you will be required to :
- Process disability claims in accordance with the provisions of various group insurance contracts
- Communicate with various parties by phone and email to get an overall understanding of the context of the absence
- Approve and make decisions on claims, determine the period payable, process payments and ensure that the necessary follow-ups are performed in a timely manner
- Develop strategies and build strong relationships to implement an action plan to facilitate the insured's recovery and return to work in a timely and sustainable manner

Ce que vous mettrez à profit
- Diplôme d'études collégiales (DEC technique) dans une discipline appropriée
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience as a disability claims specialist (short- and/or long-term disability management or similar experience in group insurance)
- Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
- Proficiency in French, both spoken and written
- Advanced intermediate proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
