The Opportunity:
The 2026 Wealth Management, Summer Analyst (4 months), Global Infrastructure Investments role will play an role in the ongoing investment management of the RBC Global Infrastructure Fund, which is a key component of the Private Markets platform.
Reporting to Andrew Hay (Head, Global Infrastructure Investments), the successful candidate will have a keen interest in applying an academic foundation in finance and investing to help with all aspects of the private infrastructure investment lifecycle: developing strategy, portfolio design and management, deal sourcing/origination, due diligence, deal execution, valuation, investment management, and reporting.
This is a Summer position (May to August) intended for an enrolled university student.
Initial Responsibilities:
Global Infrastructure Fund (90%+)
An entrepreneurial opportunity to support the management of the fund strategy, connecting with internal stakeholders and external clients and partners
With support from senior members of the team: build (and operate) sophisticated infrastructure financial models
Support quantitative and qualitative due diligence on prospective private infrastructure investments
Participate in workstreams within a due diligence process
Make contributions to written materials, such as Investment Recommendations for the fund's Investment and Governance Committee meetings, and recurring quarterly investor reporting
Perform various tasks related to product reporting, monitoring investments, market research, internal requests, and marketing efforts, working in a collaborative manner with colleagues across RBC GAM
To contribute to sophisticated portfolio analytics or other adhoc analysis
Private Markets Strategy (up to 10%)
To support the development and management of the Private Market investment platform, which includes Real Estate, Mortgages, Infrastructure, and which may expand to include other strategies in the future

Qualifications:
Role Requirements:
A minimum of 2 years of academic experience in an undergraduate degree program
A minimum of 1 co-op/internships at a financial institution of in an investment role
Strong quantitative skills, communications skills and high intellectual curiosity
A team-oriented and collaborative style that results in an ability to work effectively within a global organization
Experience with typical business/investing software: Microsoft Office, Capital IQ, Bloomberg
Role Preferences:
Experience (including summer co-op/ internships) in private infrastructure investing
