Description
Quality Control (QC) Truck Driver – Line Painting Operations
Ledcor Highway Maintenance – Alberta
Ledcor is hiring Seasonal Quality Control Truck Drivers to support our line painting crews across Alberta. This seasonal role is ideal for safety driven operators who excel in highway environments and take pride in accuracy, communication, and teamwork.

What You'll Do
- Travel in convoy with Paint and Crash Trucks, maintaining a 1 km buffer
- Set up signage, beacon lights, and arrow boards
- Perform QC checks every 15–30 minutes and every 2–5 km (line width, skip length, bead coverage, paint quality, lane width)
- Record findings in QA forms and communicate adjustments via two‑way radio
- Safely exit vehicle to take measurements and re‑enter traffic with caution
- Follow all Ledcor safety procedures, hazard controls, and PPE requirements
- Participate in all other paint crew activities including loading the paint truck, maintaining equipment, and other as duties assigned
What You Bring
- 2+ years' experience with paint truck or related highway operations.
- Valid Class 5, 1, or 3 license with air endorsement and clean 3‑year abstract.
- Strong communication skills and understanding of highway maintenance specs.
- Ability to pass pre‑employment drug and alcohol testing.
- Supervisory experience and computer skills are assets.
Work Conditions
- As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required
- Start Date: April 13th - Spring/Summer Season runs April through October
- Travel, shift work, on-call availability and night shift required during operating months
- 12-14 hrs/day
- Accommodation, meal allowance and LOA provided for out-of-town work
- Work locations span provincial & municipal highways across Alberta
